Tau of Haryana is no more.
Delhi (April 6): Tau of Haryana and Former Deputy Prime Minister of India passed away today at the local Appolo Hospital due to cardiac arrest this evening. He was 87.
Tau was admitted to the hospital two days ago and was undergoing the treatment for heart ailment. His son and the chief Minister of Haryana Ch. Om Parkash Chautala and his grand sons were were at his bedsidewhen the end came.Tau devotede his whole life for the rural masses of Haryana and the nation.

Concession in house Tax form Haryana Govt.
Sonipat (Feb 25): Haryana Govt has given concession to the house owners in the assessment of house tax . Govt. has reducedthe cost to half of the land to be calculated at the price fixed by the collectors of the respective districts, and they would reduce the house tax by 42% to 50 % from what was earlier projected. Property owners can appeal to civic bodies as well as Deputy Commissioners concerned if they feel that amount calculated by govt. approved survoyers is wrong.
As per the new instructions of the state govt.RCC covered area would be calculated @ Rs. 300 per square foot, where as wooden batton or ACC covered area would be calculated @ Rs. 150 per square foot. Teh owner would be given relief at the rate of 1% per year upto max. 50 %. The rate of the house tax has been reduced to 10% from 12.5%and the property asseessed at Rs 1lakh would be liable for a tax of Rs. 112,50 per year.
Sonipat ITI closed folowing violence
Sonipat (Feb 3): Indistrial Training Institute of Sonpat was claosed by the administration today following Yesterday's incident of voilence and hooliganism by hte students of this institute after the death of a fellow student. the students went on rempage from Mandi area and damaged signboards and hoarding of shopkeapers on Sonopat -Rohtak road. Infact the police station was on this road but no reaction was made by the police and remained silent spectators They reached general bus stand and damaged enquiry office and smashed window panes of several buses. They also tried to burn petrol pump station but were preented by Roadways staff.
Haryana to adopt 15 villages
Chandigarh (Feb 3): A Haryana team headed by Mr. Abhey Singh Chautala who has gone to set up a base camp at Gujrat for launching relief operation has decided today to adopt 15 villages from Rapar taluka of Gujrat. As observed by the team most wanted thing there is shelter for people as people still fear taking shelter in pucka houses because of after shokes. Team would provide tents to every family of the villages, along with utensils, blankets, mats and other goods of daily life. Arrengements would also be made for safe drinking water and repir water and power lines. The relief operations would be conducted under Sant Ram Rahim Gurmit Singh Ji of Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa, who is camping at Rapar with his 1200 volunteers. Another team of about 500 volunteers of youth wing of INLD led by Mr. Ajay Chautala would also go to Gujrat on Feb. 6.
Relief material rushed to Gujrat
Chandigarh (Feb 3): Relief material for Quake-hit areas is being sent to Gujrat from all part of Haryana. As many as 13 trucks including water tankers were despatched from Faridabad Yesterday. During past two days a sum of Rs. 4,47,927 has been sent from various Govt. employees ans officers of Mahendergarh district. The Indian National Lok Dal is going hi-tech. A party that is mostly identified with farmers and rural masses has taken a big sride forward into most modern hi-tech world of Internet.
