Haryana Gearing up for election
Political atmosphere is very hot in Haryana although very icy winds are blowing in the region.All eyes are set towards Election Commission for the dates of the elections. Any moment the dates can be announced, but aspirents have started gathering around their political Godfathers.Political gossips around village 'Chaupals' are heating up and people are guessing who would gain tickets from which party.Chief minister has announced many candidates from some areas.
As INDL and BJP are making alliance for the coming polls, some frictions have been surfaced. BJP is saying that when there is no seat sharing agreement is being made chief minister should refrain from announcing the names of his candidates. As far as seat sharing is concerned BJP is trying to get around 35 seats but Chautala is in no mood to give more than 20 seats. How the circumstances would change is anybody's guess.
There are 90 seats in Hayana Assembly. In last elections BJP had seat sharing arrengment with Haryana Vikas Party and came to power. Before that in 1991 elections BJP contested from 89 seats. But now circumstances are different. chautala may need BJP as this party is in power in center,but would put pressure as party has no base in Haryana and its top leaders are connected with murder cases in the state.
Meanwhile giving twist to the story former Home minister in Bansi Lal govt. Sh. Mani Ram Godara has left HVP and joined Ch. Om Parkash Chautala's INLD. This is a big jolt for Ch. Bansi Lal and may efect his election prospects.
